Forward Folding With Some Balance Challenge & Ujjaii Breath

By |December 3rd, 2019|

In this 39 min all levels yoga class we begin with seated ujjaii breathing to ground us into our bodies and transition into our practice The rest of the class isn’t extremely difficult, but the standing poses will challenge your balance and seated poses are more difficult to move into optimal alignment in so I am sticking this in the advanced archives Forward folds are great to quiet the mind, slow ourselves down, turn inward with reflection and open our hamstrings Poses include: Uttanasana,  Utthita Hasta Padungustasana/extended hand to foot posture, parvrita Utthita Hasta Padungustasana, standing split with a balance challenge, crounchasana/heron pose
